Now simply hit CRTL+ E to merge the highlighted layers. |

Time to get the pen tool out. Pres ‘P’ on the keyboard and start putting points around the hand guard. To make a curved point, click and drag the
point. Only do one half as the other half we can copy. |

Go to the paths panel and CRTL + click the thumbnail. Make a new layer and fill. Copy the layer, CRTL + T to transform and flip it vertically. Now
highlight both layer and CRTL +E to merge. Now go to the layer styles and give it these values for a nice gold color. |
