You can create a variety of fascinating text effects in Photoshop. The best part is that text effects are easy to create. You can use the different tools that come with Photoshop to create your effects. In Part I of this tutorial we propose to show you how to create a text layer, how to use some of the tools to create text effects and how to animate texts using ImageReady, the companion application of Photoshop.
 
Step 1
If you are ready, let’s begin. Open Photoshop and set up a canvas of the size 500 x 500 pixels.

A square canvas in fact. Paint the background black with paint bucket.
