Step 18
That was cool wasn’t it? Do experiment with colors and see what effects you can create! Good luck! Now let us go ahead and animate this creation. Note that your image must be in 8bit RGB mode for editing in ImageReady. Click on jump to ImageReady at the bottom of the tools panel. We shall animate the blast so that colors flash around the text. Create two more layers below the blast layer and fill them with colors of your choice. In the animation panel create a new layer. In the layers window, deactivate all layers except the background layer, text layer and one color layer. Now add a layer in animation window. Keep the text and background layers activated and deactivate the color layer you had selected in the animation panel for the first layer. Now activate another color layer. Again create another layer in the animation panel and deactivate the color layer that is selected and select another color layer. You can go on adding layers and selecting colors in this manner. The different layers in the animation panel become frames through which the cursor moves.

Step 19
Since it is loop, the cursor will keep looping back. You can set the duration of visibility for the different colors. Now click play and watch the colors flash! Save the image by clicking Save Optimized as…. as a Gif and it should appear as shown below.
