Step 5 |
Now go to the Channels palette and create a new channel. After creating the channel, fill it completely with a white color. After making it white,
press Ctrl + D to deselect it. |

Step 6 |
You will now be applying some effects on the created button. First, you will be applying some blur. For this, go Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. You do
not have to set a very high amount of blur, any value around 3-5 will do. |

Step 7 |
Now set the levels for your image. Do this by selecting Image > Adjust > Levels. In the dialog box that has appeared move the two small triangles
under the histogram towards its center (move them until the button will lock). |

Step 8 |
Press OK to apply the new levels settings. Next hold the Ctrl button and click the channel created above (you will find it as Alpha 1 in the channel

Ctrl + D to deselect the current selection. |

Step 10 |
At this point, you can change the aspect of your button. If, for example, you want to make it larger at the top, change it by going Edit > Transform
> Perspective. You can now play with your button until you have made it as you wanted to. |
