Now let us go to MentalRay settings for renderer. In final Gathering settings turn on final gathering, and set
something like 500 for Accuracy as shown in the below image. |

Go to most lower part and you will find Environment Settings. And click on create for Image Based Lightning as shown in
the below image. |

When the attribute editor opens. Make sure you buy or find some free HDRI image before this, you can find some free
samples on Paul’s Debevec web site. Using light probe picture and HDRI shop free version you can unwrap texture from light probe to spherical mapping. I
used Kitchen HDRI image that you can find for free on web. Download light probe picture and open hdr shop as shown below. |
