Then let us create area light, by going to "Create>>Lights>>Area Light" menu as shown in figure 22. |

In attributes for area light ( CTRL + A when light is selected) make few changes, in decay rate chose linear, for
intensity put value 15, in ray trace attributes check use Ray trace shadows and in mental ray section check use light shape box and for TYPE choose disc.
Using move and rotate tool place light as you like. I have placed the light on top of the model as shown in figure 23. |
